Voted one of the "7 urban wonders of the world" in 2018, the Albertina is a museum nestled in one of the former Habsburg residences near the Hofburg Palace.
The Albertina museum houses 20 ceremonial rooms of the Habsburgs but also the Batliner collection, a unique permanent collection of 500 works by multiple artists including Monet, Degas, Cézanne, Renoir, Matisse, Kandinsky and even Chagall. At this collection, you'll discover the Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, German Expressionist and Russian Avant-Garde movements.
