Explore the island of Lido on a scooter for a different way to discover Venice!

Enjoy a relaxing scooter ride on Lido island in the middle of the Venetian lagoon. 

Known for hosting one of the world's most famous film festivals every year, the Mostra di Venezia, this island is a sight not to be missed during your stay in Venice. 

With different scooter hire options, you can explore the island's 7 miles of coastline in complete freedom.

Along the way, you can admire beautiful villas and grand luxury hotels with liberty-style architecture, discover the authentic village of Malamocco, the island's first inhabited village, or enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches of San Nicolo or Alberoni.

Take in the long dikes to the south of the island known as Murazzi and end your visit to the island with a sunset and a unique view of Venice.

  • To hire a scooter in Italy, you must have an original driving licence at the time of hire (not a copy or photograph), you must also have experience of driving a scooter/motorbike
  • You must be at least 18 years old to hire a scooter and have a passport or European identity card
  • Please note that from 01/03 to 31/03 the shop will be open from 9.30am to 12.30pm and then from 3.30pm to 6.30pm.
