Travel across Japan from Osaka to Tokyo on a complete journey combining major cities, age-old traditions and iconic landscapes, for a full immersion into the country’s incredible diversity!


Day 1 – Osaka

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel by shared shuttle. You will collect your Pocket WiFi to stay connected throughout your trip.
Overnight in Osaka.

Day 2 – Osaka

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day.
Discover Osaka Castle, one of the most emblematic landmarks in Japan, before diving into the vibrant atmosphere of Dotonbori, with its neon lights, street food and lively nightlife.
Overnight in Osaka.

Day 3 – Osaka – Hiroshima

Breakfast at the hotel.
Activation of your 7-day JR West All Area Pass. Head to Shin-Osaka Station to take the train to Hiroshima.
On arrival, visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum for a powerful insight into Japan’s history and Hiroshima’s message of peace.
Overnight in Hiroshima.

Day 4 – Hiroshima

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day.
Set off to discover the sacred island of Miyajima. Between free-roaming deer, peaceful temples and forest trails, admire the famous floating torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine, one of Japan’s most iconic sights.
Overnight in Hiroshima.

Day 5 – Hiroshima – Okayama

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day.
Travel by train to Okayama using your pass.
Visit the magnificent Korakuen Garden, considered one of the most beautiful landscaped gardens in Japan, then continue to Kurashiki to stroll through its historic district, famous for its tranquil canals and preserved merchant houses.

Day 6 – Okayama – Kyoto

Travel by train to Kyoto.
Explore the Arashiyama district, a must-see area known for its iconic bamboo grove, peaceful temples and beautiful natural scenery along the Hozu River.

Day 7 – Kyoto

Stroll through the historic Gion district and try to spot maiko in its narrow streets lined with traditional wooden houses. In the evening, extend the experience with a walk through Fushimi Inari Shrine and its thousands of illuminated torii gates.

Day 8 – Kyoto – Kanazawa

Travel by train to Kanazawa.
Discover the Higashi Chaya district, famous for its centuries-old teahouses, stone-paved streets and timeless atmosphere.

Day 9 – Kanazawa

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day.
Optional excursion to the traditional village of Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, accessible by bus from Kanazawa. With an early start, the round trip can easily be done in one day.

Day 10 – Kanazawa – Tokyo

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day.
Travel by train to Tokyo.
Explore the traditional districts of Asakusa and Ueno, home to Senso-ji Temple and Sumida Park, then continue to Yanaka, known as “Old Tokyo.”
Overnight in Tokyo.

Day 11 – Tokyo

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day.
Want to see the famous Mount Fuji? You may travel to Lake Kawaguchiko by train or bus (optional, at extra cost). With an early departure, a round trip can easily be done in one day, offering spectacular views of Japan’s sacred mountain.

Day 12 – Tokyo

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day.
Enjoy this final full day to explore Tokyo at your own pace: futuristic districts, peaceful shrines, museums, shopping or culinary experiences.

Day 13 – Tokyo – Return home

Breakfast at the hotel.
Shared shuttle transfer from your hotel to the airport.

Accommodation capacity :

  • Single room: 1 adult
  • Double/Twin room: 2 adults or 1 adult + 1 child
  • Babies are not allowed
  • Children's ages : 2 - 11 years
  • All specific requests for sleeping arrangements (double/separate beds) are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.
  • For technical reasons, hotels may be replaced by similar accommodation and tour stops may be reversed.
  • In Japan, hotel rooms are often quite narrow and beds small. Check-in is usually mid-afternoon (3pm-4pm).
  • Please note that some hotels provide an eco-stay package. (Bed linen and room cleaning are done every 3 days or so, depending on the hotel).
  • The accommodation included in this trip is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. For more information, please contact customer service
  • In the event of late arrival or early departure on the first or last day due to airline schedules, no refund will be made. Similarly, any meals included in the package that cannot be taken due to these schedules cannot be reimbursed. Also, depending on the timetable of any optional extras and excursions, meals that cannot be taken at the hotel will be charged to the customer.
     

Transportation

  • Airport transfers (Kansai KIX or Itami ITM – hotel – Tokyo airport)
    Transfers are provided by shared shuttle. The shuttle drops you off directly at your hotel and may make several stops along the way. On the return transfer, the shuttle will take you to the airport and may also make several stops.
    One piece of luggage per person is included; please contact us before departure if you have additional luggage.
  • In Kyoto and Osaka, this service is available only for arrivals at Kansai International Airport (KIX) or Itami Airport (ITM) between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm.
    Outside these hours, a private transfer can be offered at an additional cost.
    If arriving at Kobe Airport (UKB), transfers will be at your own expense.
  • JR West All Area Pass – 7 days
    The train is one of the most convenient and comfortable ways to travel around Japan. With the JR West All Area Pass, you can explore western Japan freely for seven consecutive days. The pass provides access to most JR West trains, including Shinkansen lines (except Nozomi and Mizuho), limited express trains, and local lines.
    It is ideal for discovering major cities such as Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Kanazawa, Fukuoka, and Okayama, while enjoying the speed and efficiency of Japan’s rail network.
  • Kanazawa – Tokyo train
    In Japan, trains are undoubtedly one of the best ways to travel quickly and comfortably. Tokyo is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours from Kanazawa by train.
    Please note that train schedules will be provided in your travel documents.
