Discover Osaka Castle, one of the most emblematic landmarks in Japan, before diving into the vibrant atmosphere of Dotonbori, with its neon lights, street food and lively nightlife.

Day 3 – Osaka – Hiroshima

Activation of your 7-day JR West All Area Pass. Head to Shin-Osaka Station to take the train to Hiroshima.
On arrival, visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum for a powerful insight into Japan’s history and Hiroshima’s message of peace.

Day 4 – Hiroshima

Set off to discover the sacred island of Miyajima. Between free-roaming deer, peaceful temples and forest trails, admire the famous floating torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine, one of Japan’s most iconic sights.

Day 5 – Hiroshima – Okayama

Travel by train to Okayama using your pass.
Visit the magnificent Korakuen Garden, considered one of the most beautiful landscaped gardens in Japan, then continue to Kurashiki to stroll through its historic district, famous for its tranquil canals and preserved merchant houses.

Day 6 – Okayama – Kyoto

Travel by train to Kyoto.
Explore the Arashiyama district, a must-see area known for its iconic bamboo grove, peaceful temples and beautiful natural scenery along the Hozu River.

Day 7 – Kyoto

Stroll through the historic Gion district and try to spot maiko in its narrow streets lined with traditional wooden houses. In the evening, extend the experience with a walk through Fushimi Inari Shrine and its thousands of illuminated torii gates.

Travel by train to Kanazawa.
Discover the Higashi Chaya district, famous for its centuries-old teahouses, stone-paved streets and timeless atmosphere.

Optional excursion to the traditional village of Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, accessible by bus from Kanazawa. With an early start, the round trip can easily be done in one day.

Travel by train to Tokyo.
Explore the traditional districts of Asakusa and Ueno, home to Senso-ji Temple and Sumida Park, then continue to Yanaka, known as “Old Tokyo.”

Want to see the famous Mount Fuji? You may travel to Lake Kawaguchiko by train or bus (optional, at extra cost). With an early departure, a round trip can easily be done in one day, offering spectacular views of Japan’s sacred mountain.
