Follow your guide in a discovery of Korean folklore with its many unmissable visits!

A shuttle will pick you up directly from your hotel to take you to Gyeongbokgung Palace. On the way, you will pass by the Blue House, the Korean presidential building.

First you will enjoy the changing of the guard of the Gyeongbok palace in period costume. You will then enter into the palace grounds where your guide will present the history of this major residence of the kings of the Joseon dynasty, built in 1394. You will pass through the palace's courtyards and gardens and discover the main buildings, especially the throne room, the king and queen's quarters, the reception venues for prestigious guests and the residence of the crown prince.

You will visit the National Folklore Museum where you will discover the Korean way of life and Korean costumes.

Your guide will then introduce you to Jogyesa Buddhist temple, one of the country's most important.

You will visit the Ginseng centre where you can buy products based on this medicinal plant renowned for its many health benefits such as reducing fatigue, improving concentration or strengthening the immune system.

You will have lunch before setting off to the Korean Folk Village, a reconstruction of a Korean village from the Joseon era (1392 - 1910).

You will admire the different architectural styles of the houses according to the social class of their owners. Your guide will explain all about the arrangement of these Korean houses and the use of the different areas in the house. You will be amazed at the jars which are used for fermenting condiments and you will see the various objects and tools once considered indispensable to the Koreans.
