Visit a husky farm and enjoy a short dog sled ride in the heart of the Lapland forest!
During a stay in Lapland, a sled dog ride is an activity not to be missed.
You will benefit from a transfer directly from our partner's agency and you will be taken to the middle of the forest of Finnish Lapland, not far from the Arctic Circle.
You will arrive at a husky breeding farm and get to know the breeders, from the Sami people, an indigenous people of Lapland. You will learn more about Sami culture, life on the farm and the daily lives of breeders and dogs.
You will get to know the huskies and share a special moment, all supervised by the breeders and your guide. You will then board a sled and enjoy a short dog sled ride (approximately 800 meters).
Finally, to warm up and share a friendly moment with the breeders and your guide, you will enjoy a Lappish snack composed of gingerbread and hot blueberry juice.
After this Lappish experience, you will be taken back to Rovaniemi.
