Your guide will pick you up directly from your hotel, ready to spend a day exploring Beijing.
Start your day at Beihai Park where you will have the opportunity to admire the White Pagoda and the Nine-Dragon Wall. Then jump on board a Tuk-Tuk, a motorised rickshaw, to visit the Hutongs, a typical area of Beijing.
You will be welcomed inside a house in the Hutongs where you will meet and have lunch with a Chinese family. Make the most of your chance to discover secret family recipes!
Your next stop after lunch is the Lama Temple. Constructed at the end of the 17th century, the Lama Temple, also known as the Yonghe Temple, is the main place of prayer for Tibetan Buddhist monks in Beijing.
You will also visit the Temple of Confucius, situated just a few minutes on foot from the Lama Temple. Wonder at this temple where the emperors once came to venerate the most famous Chinese philosophers!
Your final stop before returning to your hotel will be at the Imperial College, or Guozijian, where the Chinese scholars studied.
