Explore the south of the island of Mallorca and discover the Es Trenc salt flats and the beautiful coves of Mondrago Natural Park!
For this excursion into the heart of Mallorcan nature, your local English-speaking guide will pick you up in a mini-van in front of your hotel. With yourgroup of eight people, you'll set off in the direction of the south of the island of Majorca.
First you'll arrive at the Es Trenc saltworks. Accompanied by your guide, you'll learn how salt is made. You'll stroll along bands of pink salts whose color changes with the seasons.
You'll then take the road to the small village of Ses Salines to join a typical, family-run restaurant. Here you'll enjoy a child-friendly local meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
After lunch, your guide will take you exploring Mondrago Nature Park. This 766-hectare nature reserve is home to diverse landscapes such as dunes, swamps, pine forests as well as crystal-clear coves. Your guide will share his knowledge of the flora and fauna of this site. After a stroll, you'll arrive at Platja S'Amarrador, a beach with fine sands and clear water. You'll have free time to enjoy the cove and indulge in snorkeling.
Your guide will take you back to your hotel around 5:00 pm.
