Get off the beaten path and see two amazing spots of the Sultanate of Oman: Nizwa and the Wadi Ghul grand canyon! 

Start your day with a tour of Nizwa, former capital of the Sultanate of Oman, which features remarkable cultural and architectural heritage.

In this city, enjoy the fort as well as traditional bazaars, where many products (fabric, spices, coffee, fruits and vegetables, etc.) are available. After that, head to Wadi Ghul and arrive at Jebel Shams mountain, highest point of Oman, 3,009 metres above sea level. Enjoy breathtaking, nearly lunar views to the Grand Canyon of Oman, a key spot of the country.

Then, continue to Misfah, an old town perched upon the side of a mountain, accessible only through small trails, and enjoy a wholesome traditional meal.

Finally, before returning to Muscat, explore Al Amra and its surroundings with your guide.
