Climb aboard an air-conditioned bus to Harburg and its eleventh-century medieval castle. (entry not included, to be paid on arrival).
Continue your journey discovering the ancient cities of the Swabian league, an alliance of cities independent from the Holy Roman Empire.
Then reach the city of Rothenburg at the heart of the romantic route. Discover its ramparts, its half-timbered houses, medieval gates, the Renaissance-style town hall and St. Jacob's Church.
You will then have free time for lunch, to explore the city at your own pace and do some shopping and discover the shops in the town centre.
Return to Munich via Hallertau and admire the scenery of the world's largest hop-growing region.
