Enjoy the unmissable nightly sound and light show and be transported back to the cowboy era during a dinner on the Colorado River!
The nightly sound and light show on the Colorado River has been running since 1963. It's a fun and enchanting way to learn about the history of the Canyonlands area. After dark, thousands of natural lights illuminate the surroundings and bring the ancient stories to life.
You'll meet up at the end of the day on the banks of the Colorado River 3 km north of the town of Moab. Settle down in the comfy dining room overlooking the famous Colorado River. You can dig into delicious dishes prepared that day and get into the "cowboy" ambience.
After dinner, you'll board a boat and enjoy a trip at dusk along a calm section of the Colorado River. Your guide will tell you all about the history of the area and the river that has its mouth in the south-west of the United States and flows into the Gulf of California in Mexico. You'll learn about the first settlers of the region and the Native Americans who once populated the area.
On the program, a unique show featuring natural lights and shadows that dance to the music!
