The Colorado River is an American Southwest must-see. It emerges from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, flows through several states and national parks, and finally flows into the Gulf of California in Mexico. You'll be in awe of the impressive views of the red-rock canyons and cliffs.
Meet in the late afternoon on the Colorado River near Moab, and hop aboard the boat with the other members of the group. During the tour you'll be accompanied by a geology expert guide who will give you plenty of historical facts and stories about the Canyonlands region. Take a trip back in time to the days of the Native Americans and the first settlers and discover some ancient treasures such as petroglyphs and a granary. Marvel at the red rock cliffs along the river and try to spot the animals and birds that inhabit the area.
