The mouth of the Colorado River is in the Rocky Mountains in the state of Colorado in south-west USA, and it flows into the Gulf of California in Mexico. It runs for more than 2,300 km through various states and over time it has carved out numerous canyons.
You'll meet your guide and embark near Moab on the Colorado River. During the boat tour, you'll have the chance to see the famous Moab Arches that form the Arches National Park, Native American petroglyphs, and a Native American granary. Your guide will tell you all about the geology and history of the Moab, Utah, and the Colorado River region. Prepare to be impressed by the immense ochre-coloured canyon walls, some of which are 670 metres high, and by the beauty of the landscape surrounding the Colorado River. You'll also be able to spot different species of wildlife and birds that inhabit the area and enjoy a relaxing walk to get some fresh air!

When booking, you'll be asked to choose a departure time depending on the length of your tour:
- 9am - 3hr tour
- 11 am - 1hr tour
- 1pm - 1hr tour
- 1pmr - 3h tour

- Availability: Monday, Wednesday and Friday (except under exceptional circumstances)
- Times:
- 1 hour tour: 11 am or 1pm
- 3 hour tour: 9am or 1pm - Meet-up point: at the local tour operator's office, located north of the Colorado River, 2 miles north of Moab, Utah
- Two boats are available: one can accommodate up to 18 people and the other a maximum of 38 people
- The jet boats are fast and glide across the water. This makes the tour very comfy, and it only takes place on a calm section of the river. It means the tour is suited to people of all ages. However, children under 4 years old aren't allowed on this tour
- The boats have protective tops and windscreens. Even so, we recommend you bring sunscreen and a bottle of water
- This tour isn't suited to people with reduced mobility
- Children under 4 years old aren't allowed
