Taste several port wines at one of the oldest port houses: Taylor's Port, in central Lisbon!
Go to Taylor's Port in Lisbon's Alfama district, one of the oldest port houses established in 1692. You'll be welcomed by passionate sommeliers who will teach you, through a tasting, to differentiate the notes and different tastes you can find in port wine.
You'll taste two iconic port wines: Chip Dry Extra Dry White, a dry white port wine invented in the 1930s, and Late Bottled Vintage (LBV), a red port wine invented in the 1970s.
For your last glass, the sommelier will suggest a Tawny port, 10 years old! You'll be amazed by the sweet, pulpy flavors this wine will bring.
Finally, you'll end your tasting in style with a Pastel de Nata, Lisbon's local specialty (a custard-based tart) or three Vinte Vinte premium chocolate squares, for a more gourmet, contemporary pairing with Portuguese wines (depending on the option chosen).
