Escape for a day to the heart of the Portuguese Riviera, to Sintra, Cabo de la Roca and Cascais!
The trip will start in the heart of the capital, in Lisbon, where the minibus will pick you up directly from Figueira square. You will head to Sintra, nicknamed "the glorious Eden" by the English poet Lord Byron.
You'll have free time to visit the Pena Palace Park (entrance fee not included) and its 200 hectares of greenery on your own, or the Pena Palace (entrance fee not included). This famous, brightly-colored palace, located high above the city at around 500 meters above sea level, is a blend of different architectural styles.
You will have free time in the historic center of Sintra to enjoy a lunch break (not included) and discover the cobblestone streets and various craft stores. You will enjoy a guided tour of the Quinta da Regaleira Castle, located in a 4 hectare garden and surrounded by lush gardens, lakes and many other mysterious places.
You will continue on the road and discover Cabo de la Roca, the most western point of Europe. You will pass through the village of Gincho and its surfing beaches, then you will stop in Cascais where you will have enough free time to discover this charming seaside resort at your own pace.
You will be driven back to the center of Lisbon, Restauradores Square or Marquês de Pombal Square, after a full day excursion.
