Accompanied by a local guide, for 3 hours you'll explore the emblematic neighborhoods of the Peruvian capital through its street food.
You'll meet your guide in front of the Hotel Belén, a stone's throw from Plaza San Martín. You'll start the tour with a turrón tasting in a traditional 1930s pastry shop. Your walk will then take you to the central market, where you'll taste cheeses, stuffed olives, exotic fruits and refreshing juices.
You'll continue to Chinatown (Barrio Chino) to savor dumplings with Peruvian flavors, before discovering typical Andean dishes near the Numismatic Museum: potatoes, corn, beans and hard-boiled eggs, spiced up with a local chili pepper.
You'll then visit one of the city's oldest bars, where you'll sample a Peruvian ceviche, an emblematic seafood dish. The walk will end in the grounds of the San Francisco convent, over a churro revisited in the local tradition.
