Discover Hoi An's old town and its culinary specialities!
After meeting your guide in the afternoon in Hoi An's old town, you'll begin your culinary tour by visiting a bakery that has been making one of the city's best banh mi for generations. You can judge for yourself by tasting this typical local sandwich. You'll then head to a small restaurant where you can enjoy pork rolled in rice paper, accompanied by a typical soy sauce!
Your guide will then take you to various restaurants frequented by the locals, and tell you more about the different ingredients and Hoi An's most popular dishes, as well as their importance in Vietnamese culture. You'll then head further into the city and wander through alleyways until you reach a hidden restaurant where you can sample one of the city's specialities: cao lau, pork noodles which will be served with a sesame and peanut drink.
Finally, you'll go to a bar where you'll taste a local spirit and can chat with your guide about all the dishes you've tasted during the tour.
