Explore the Road to Hana on a full-day tour from Oahu!
Arrived at Honolulu airport you'll fly to Maui, where a guide awaits you for your day. Once there, you'll head for the famous Hana Road, known for its breathtaking scenery. You'll pass through the town of Pa'ia, known as the "windsurfing capital of the world", with its quaint stores and restaurants, before heading east. Your first stop is the Ke'anae Peninsula, a spectacular lava formation where waves crash against steep volcanic rocks. Here you'll discover taro fields farmed sustainably, as the ancient Hawaiians did, as well as the stone church, the only remnant after the 1946 tsunami.
Your adventure continues with an included lunch at Hana Farms, a tropical farm nestled in the rainforest along the Hana Highway. After this gourmet break, head to Wai'anapanapa State Park, famous for its black sand beach, lava tubes, sea arches and spectacular blowhole.
As you pass through the town of Hana, you'll admire Hana Bay, prized by locals for its idyllic beach. Then, at Pua'a Ka'a State Park, you'll have the opportunity to swim in a natural pool formed by a waterfall (weather permitting).
On the way back, you'll pass by the famous Ho'okipa Beach Park, a spot renowned for its big waves and numerous windsurfers. The return trip in the opposite direction will offer you a whole new perspective on the breathtaking scenery of the Road to Hana.
Your local guide will share fascinating anecdotes about Hawaiian culture and the history of the region. After this unforgettable day, you'll be taken back to the airport for your flight back to Oahu.
