Enjoy a guided hike in the crater of the Hualalai volcano on Big Island in Hawaii and enter a tunnel of lava!
After you have been picked up from your hotel, you will start your 5.5km hike on the Hualalai volcano. You will go through private access paths on your way up the mountain. With your guide, you will walk through beaten paths and reach an altitude of 1980 meters. You will get to admire the slag cones and volcanic rocks created by lava during the eruption of Kaupulehu Crater in 1801.
From the high altitude, you will observe the Kona region. You will walk through a forest of cloads and down a tunnel of lava 10 meters deep!
After lunch, you will visit a local bar and taste the Ola Brew beer before you head back to your hotel.
