Discover the secrets behind the Hawaiian volcanoes during a guided visit of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park!
After you have been picked up from your hotel, you will take the Saddle Road by van. Your first stop will be the Mauna Kea State Recreation Area where you will be served a few snacks.
You will then head for the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where, with your guide, you will discover more about the history behind the volcanoes of Big Island in Hawaii. You will enjoy a 4 kilometer hike in the park before stopping for a sandwich lunch break.
Around 2p.m., you will take a coach to head to Kauhi Cavern. You will enter this tunner of lava with 10.6-meter-high ceilings and admire its walls carpeted with yellow foam.
To finish, you will taste a traditionnal platter of pu pu and drive back to Kona.
