Enjoy a cruise along the coast from Kona to Big Island by boat and dive into Captain Cook's waters in Hawaii!
You'll board a comfortable boat and begin your cruise in Kealakekua Bay, on the eastern side of Big Island. Known as the ancient burial place of a Hawaiian kingdom, it was discovered by James Cook and his ships in 1779.
Your boat will stop at various spots, to allow you to dive and admire the underwater world. In the crystal-clear waters of this bay, you'll have the chance to see the coral reef in the shallow waters, home to a wide variety of different plants and animals. Whether in the water or aboard the boat, you'll see the Captain Cook monument, erected by the British in honour of the death of the soldier James Cook in 1779.
On the way back, your captain will take you on a tour of the caves along Kona's south coast. If you're lucky, you may see dolphins, whales, sea turtles and even herds of goats.
