Discover the vineyards of McLaren Vale on a culinary and wine tour departing from Adelaide!
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Adelaide before travelling to the wine region of McLaren Vale with your specialist guide.
Throughout the day, you will visit several renowned wineries as well as smaller boutique estates in the region. Depending on the day’s itinerary, you may visit wineries such as d’Arenberg Cube, Dandelion Vineyards, Bekkers, or Mollydooker. You will take part in various wine tastings while learning about the local terroirs and grape varieties.
At lunchtime, you will enjoy a gourmet meal at the Salopian Inn or a similar venue in the region. You will have the opportunity to taste local specialties accompanied by Australian wines.
In the afternoon, the tour will continue with additional wine tastings or artisan local produce tastings. Depending on the conditions and the interests of the group, stops may include wineries such as Primo Estate, Wirra Wirra, or Penny’s Hill. You will also travel through the rolling hills and coastal landscapes of McLaren Vale.
At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your accommodation in Adelaide.
